The growth and prosperity of the industries are directly related to the product of Industrial Training Institutes. Hence it is high time to ensure the quality of industrial Training Institute. Industrial Training Institute should be able to meet the skill manpower requirements of industry ITI, Khariar Road is one of the Industrial Training Institute which is going ahead in its endeavor to expand the skill manpower pool of our country. As such, the institute is imparting training to its trainees to a high standard skill by the highly experienced teaching staff, valuable guidance of the Principal, Chairman of the Governing Body & Institute Managing Committee and time to time guidance of Director and Inspecting Officers of Directorate of Technical Education & Training, Odisha, Cuttack.

ITI Khariar Road was established during 2000. This Institution is functioning under the Department of Employment and Technical Education & Training. Odisha and Directorate of Technical Education & Training. Govt. of Odisha keeping in view the geographical origin of the district this institute aims at providing vocational training to the students residing across the Nuapada district.

It is situated in the western part of Odisha, just at a distance of about 2km. from Khariar Road Railway Station, 8 k.m. from the district head quarters and 200 metres from Mundagaon bus stop.

At present there are 06 numbers of different trades under CTS pattern. During 2012, the Institute has been upgraded through ‘Public Private Partnership’ by Govt. of India with a new vision to provide multi skilled workforce in order to cope up with the modern industrial scenario emerging around the Globe.
